MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling is a treatment that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more-toned skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, saggy skin , stretch marks and large pores. During the treatment, there is insertion of very fine, short needles into the skin for the purposes of collagen production. It is the most popular and cost effective treatment. The microneedling instrument is made up of micro-fine needles that range in diameter from 0.5 to 2.5 millimeters. The punctures are more like pin pricks that only enter the surface level-deep. The downtime period include redness and slight inflammation which usually subsides in three to five days.
